Are there any tricks to installing an external US Robotics 56K modem on my hp-ux d class server on 10.20 ?

Hi,
Create a modem device thru sam >perpheral Device>Terminal/Modems> Select port, speed (usually 9600)
Connect a modem cable (9-25 pin) from port to modem. It should be pretty simple.

SolutionMy personal experience is that HP modems are much easier to configure and use than third party products.
