Setting up an Ignite server

Hi

I am setting up an ignite server (or trying to...), the question is the machines are far away from office and when it gets to the part of copying the OS software I can't copy it from local DVD/CD. I mounted the sw on a local linux machine and exported it by NFS to the ignite server machine. Is there any way of using the software this way? I tried to use make_depots to copy the sw to a new created filesystem but I am getting an error (ERROR: swcopy command failed).
Does anyone did this before and can give some highlights please?

Thanks in advance,
R

Re: Setting up an Ignite server

Shalom,

No, Linux is not going to be able with a standard mount to do this for you.

pfs_mount might be able to do the trick.
