SeviceGuard OPS A.11.14 RAC shared volume hang...
I have an HPUX rp7410 running 11.11 OS with MC/SG OPS A.11.14. We are running Oracle RAC on a 2 node cluster and the cluster is up and running with the shared volume showing shared, server on one node and shared, client on the second node.
The Oracle DB will start and attach to the shared disk mount and open the DB on either node, but when the second DB instance is started on the other node the Instance will start and then hang when trying to attach to the shared VG to mount the DB.
There are no error to be found associated with this.... it just hangs...

What version of RAC are you using (as you are referring to it as RAC rather than OPS I assume you are using one of the 9i versions). The release notes for Serviceguard OPS 11.14 indicate that it supports OPS v8.1.6 and 8.1.7 and RAC v9.0.1 only:

Re: SeviceGuard OPS A.11.14 RAC shared volume hang...
You can try doing
lsof +D < Vol path >
You can see like this what process is active on vol..
And Also check for all hardwware related things..
Before activating mounting the DB, I would check for all hardware paths are available correctly on other server..Usually I might export from this server and import to other server, will check if this happens correctly..
RUN ioscan and check for disk status..
You can drill it further doing so I guess
