sftp file transfer loggin

I am unable to get sftp to log file transfer to the syslog.log or any other log file.

I am running OpenSSH_4.7p1

My sshd_config file has:
Subsystem sftp /opt/ssh/libexec/sftp-server -f LOCAL1 -l INFO

My /etc/syslog.conf has
*.info /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log


Any ideas?

Shalom,

Are you using the secure shell software from http://software.hp.com ?

It was ported to HP-UX from openssh and specifically deals with this and many other issues.

T1471AA A.04.70.004 HP-UX Secure Shell

logs all sftp attempts in syslog.
