SFTP on HPUX 10.20 will not work

I am trying to configure ssh on an HPUX 10.20 machine (ssh server). SSH works OK, but sftp only works for root. For any other users, the sftp client complanes that "Received message to long" when the password is inserted. For a windows client, the dir contents apear, but no file transfers are posible.(error 127). The openssh package version is 2.5.1p1. I cannot find a newer binary depot package for HPUX 10.20 anywhere.
Can anyone help?

Hi,

2.5.1p1 is too old. The latest one is 3.5p1 but I do not think there is any pre-compiled binary for 10.20.

Try the following

http://www.encap.org/search/encapinfo.fcgi?archive=contrib/pa1.1-hpux10.20/openssh-3.4p1+1-encap-pa1.1-hpux10.20.tar.gz
