sftp without password
I want to do sftp to a server with root account without password.I did keygen and copied the public file to the server. But it is asking for the password everytime. However I can do sftp without password for normal users.
Require your help to resolve the issue.
Thanks,
Mani

Re: sftp without password
May be permissions on target system, on root's home directory or ~root/.shh, are too permissive. In this case you should find in syslog.log a warning about it.

Re: sftp without password
