Re: SG and INFORMIX startup problem

Holger,

There was a similar posting yesterday that may (or may not) be of some help to you:

http://forums.itrc.hp.com/cm/QuestionAnswer/1,,0x68648b82cc91d711abdc0090277a778c,00.html

Ignore the last couple of entries from me. I managed to give this reply to him and referred him to his own thread.

Re: SG and INFORMIX startup problem

Hi,

Your problem of disk lock probably is not the same that you have with your DB.
I need more information in your process to help you.
Is it possible to send your configurations files?
Also, this Informix DB starts in your nodes without MC/SG? (to test, put the IP address of your package manually and startup db by hand).

Re: SG and INFORMIX startup problem

Hi Julio,

when we start Informix manually without SG it works on both nodes. Only when started through SG we encounter that problem. The way to start Informix is the same with or without SG. Which config files would be needed?

thx
Holger
