SG on UX - newbie questions

I have installed SG on linux (with LVMv2)several times, now i have two integrity rx6600 to play with and learn how to install Serviceguard on UX 11i v2 with OnlineJFS 3.5 and Secure path HP-UX v3.0F.
Storage is an EVA 4000.

Is there any how to manual for SG that I can download? Any caveats? comments? suggestions?

Thanks in advance for your comments.

I was also looking for formal certified training in UX and UX/SG in the Latin America region

Re: SG on UX - newbie questions

The cluster implementation summary included in the previous posting is not available to the general public because it is knowledge capital made available in the ITRC knowledge database to customers who have purchased contractual support with HP. The forum is not intended to be a distribution source of such documents. Please do not distribute ITRC knowledge documents.

The document referenced above has been improved, and its ID is emr_na-c01155787-1

Re: SG on UX - newbie questions

Melvyn Asif, Rico, thanks for the links. I was already reading a lot of those documents. And there is a *lot* to read!!!

Asif, the document you mention is very interesting.

To the ITRC forum admin, I was also not aware of the document posting rules. I apologize for that.

I have a lot to read and test over the weekend.

I also checked the online training sessions, very complete and quite expensive hehe(money will come from my own pocket, not from my boss).

Rico: de donde eres?

thanks to all,

Re: SG on UX - newbie questions

You might want to try RAIL for training.

http://www.hp.com/education/sections/hpux.html

http://www.hp.com/education/courses/h6487s.html

PS: That doc is 11.16 and SG is at 11.18 now - and is quite different - stick to the docs on:

http://docs.hp.com/en/ha.html

PSS: I just finished reading "HP Certified Systems Administrator: Training Guide and Administrator's Reference, 2nd Edition"

http://www.amazon.com/Certified-Systems-Administrator-Administrators-Reference/dp/1424342317/ref=cm_pdp_review_teaser_product

Very good book that you might be interested in...
