SG problem!
Hi all,
we have a cluster with 2 nodes:
- sanblu
- sangreen
we use nfs
we mounted 1pkg (SMTP) on sanblu
2pkg (IMAP,POP) on sangreen
yesterday we noticed sangreen didn't mount sharing fs (nfs), so the pkg IMAP and POP went down... I didn't find any info about.
Can you suggest me something.
in attach you can see the logs
Thanks

Re: SG problem!
I would suggest Veritas's cluster file systems over an nfs mount. Though the license for Veritas will cost more than your server.

Re: SG problem!
OLDsyslog.log doesn't show what happened before Apr 19 17:10:42 that might help us identify the reason why the POP3_pkg was shutting down. Would you provide more syslog prior to this date/time please?
The package halted with a NO_RESTART status, so something went wrong, requiring maintenance before the package could be restarted.

Re: SG problem!
Looks like your pop3 daemon died - and was caught by the monitor script - so the package went down.
cmmodpkg -e poppkg
You might want to change the monitor script to try to restart pop3 - say 3 times before halting...
