SgeSap Integration in MC Service Guard..How?
Folks,
Got a very urgent Problem. We have been handed over a server setup for support by 1 of our Customer . It is a 2 node MCSG cluster. both are BL860c i2 blades in a MC Service guard cluster. SAP and oracle installed.
sgeSAP extension toolkit has been installed and modular package have been created.
Note : The setup was done by HP.
I have never done toolkit integration in MCSG. Now i just want to know how SAP has been integrated into the cluster. I have already read some content of book (SAP r/3 integration ) but before reading further want to clarify some of things.
1> as per doc all toolkit gets install in /opt/cmcluster . In this case i can see it was installed in /opt/cmcluster/sap.
2> Now I want to know what is the next step.
How and where does the SAP basis team needs to do the SAP configuration for this cluster integration. Because some where in itrc i read that from Cluster config perspective a system admin has to do very little changes in package config file.
SAP config changes have to be done by basis team by copying the files in /opt/cmcluster/sap to /etc/cmcluster and configuring them with all paramters ( dont now the exact location as I couldnt find any files copied in this given setup).
Please help on how this integration setup has been done because I dont hv any idea of SAP. and in case I have to build such a setup what I need to do as a System Admin .. Please help.

Re: SgeSap Integration in MC Service Guard..How?
To learn what version is installed, use
# swlist -l bundle | grep -i exten
Look for something like:
T2803BA B.05.10 Serviceguard Extension for SAP
Next, go to this website:
HP-UX Documents: Serviceguard Extension for SAP (http://www.hp.com/go/hpux-SGeSAP-docs )
» User guide >> "Managing Serviceguard Extension for SAP Version B.05.10, April 2011" (or the edition that deals with the version of SGeSAP installed).
The guide will show how to implement SAP under Serviceguard control.
