Shadow and SAM
I am debating on putting shadow on one of my boxes. However I have read that shadow is not supported in SAM yet. How do you keep administrators from trying to use SAM to create a new user, etc? What happens if SAM is used on a shadowed system? Does it come back with an error or does it just write to /etc/passwd like normal?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Shadow and SAM
If this is 11.11 it looks like SAM supports /etc/shadow since PHCO_31312.
PHCO_31312:

existence of the file /etc/shadow. It is not
able to utilize the password aging and account
lifetime information present in /etc/shadow
to display and manage the password aging
parameters of a user.
Resolution: SAM has been enhanced to support and manage

present in the file, /etc/shadow. The user
