share windows directories to HPUX 11.11 server by using samba

Hi,

I am trying to mount a windows directory on to HPUX 11.11 server. I have the share directory name along with windows user credentials.

I have the following version of CIFS client and server installed on the HPUX server.

CIFS-Client A.01.09.01 CIFS Client
CIFS-Client.CIFSCLIENT-KRN A.01.09.01 Kernel files for CIFS Client
CIFS-Client.CIFSCLIENT-MIS A.01.09.01 User documents and unicode translation tables for CIFS Client
CIFS-Client.CIFSCLIENT-RUN A.01.09.01 Run-time programs and libraries for CIFS Client for 64-bit systems
# CIFS-Development A.01.10 HP CIFS Server Source Code Files
CIFS-Development.CIFS-PRG A.01.10 HP CIFS Server Source Code Files
# CIFS-Server A.01.10 HP CIFS Server (Samba) File and Print Services

Please advice on how to update smb.conf file and run smbclient command to mount the windows share on hpux server.

EXAMPLES
Mount the share htdocs, on the server websrv01, at the local
mountpoint /mnt/webdocs01, in read-only mode:

cifsmount -r //websrv01/htdocs /mnt/webdocs01

Mount the share htdocs, on the server websrv01, at the local
mountpoint /mnt/webdocs01, and login to server using the remote-
account name martha, such that cifsmount prompts for password:

Hewlett-Packard Company - 3 - HP-UX 11i Version 2: August 2003

cifsmount(1M) cifsmount(1M)

cifsmount -U martha //websrv01/htdocs /mnt/webdocs01

Umount the object mounted at /mnt/webdocs01:

cifsumount /mnt/webdocs01
