should these be removed in passwd file?

Hi,

While going through the /etc/passwd file, I noticed the following IDs :

uucp
lp
nuucp
hpdb
nobody
www
smbnull
sshd
privsep
iwww
owww
hpsmh
mysql

Which IDs are safe to remove? I'm afraid the system will not function if they are incorrectly removed.

Thanks in advance.

In short you cant delete all of them. But some of them depending on the services you run on the systems.
