shutdown log

does HP 11.11 have a shutdown log which kept all the status of the process during shutdown other than shutdown.log which only log the shutdown time.

I need something similar to /etc/rc.log but for loging shutdown process instead of startup process, to see if it fail during shutdown or have an error during shutdown.

Re: shutdown log

Have a look at the /etc/rc.log.old file. It contains the information for all the shutdown scripts at the end of the file. The beginning of the file does contain the startup information for reboot prior to the most current, and the end of the file contains the outpout from the machine shutdown.

If you look at the file I think you'll see what I mean.
