Single Sign-on in a multi platform environment
We have AIX 5.x, HP-UX 11.x and Solaris 9 installs. I am looking for a single sign-on solution. NIS and NIS+ look likely replaced by a LDAP solution but is that secure sign-on?
Does anyone have any similar configurations and have they found a workable solution?
Thanks

Re: Single Sign-on in a multi platform environment
Yes. LDAP can be used as a secure and single sign-on. Though I am not involved completely, we are trying to get it configured for various platforms here including Linux, SUN, AIX and HP.

Thanks for the reply.
Can you tell me which solution you are looking at. I am considering concentrating my efforts on the SUN One solution.
