Siteminder on Itanium
Has anyone been able to get CA's Siteminder to work on HP Itanium servers running HP/UX BL11.23?
The product installs ok. It asks to modify the apache servers httpd.conf file with the following:
LoadModule sm_module /opt/hpws/webagent/bin/mod2_sm.sl
When starting Apache I get the following error:
root@omzrsi:/apachectl -k start
/usr/lib/hpux64/dld.so: '/opt/hpws/webagent/bin/mod2_sm.sl' is not a valid load module: Bad magic number
Syntax error on line 208 of /opt/hpws/apache/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /opt/hpws/webagent/bin/mod2_sm.sl into server: Invalid argument
I also tried this with both the 64 bit and 32 bit apache servers and got the same error.
Here's the output from the file command:
root@omzrsi:/file /opt/hpws/webagent/bin/mod2_sm.sl
/opt/hpws/webagent/bin/mod2_sm.sl: PA-RISC2.0 shared library -not stripped
Apparently, this works just fine on PA-RISC boxes in our company, but no luck with Itanium.
I have tried a 5.5 and 6.0 siteminder kit with no luck.

Re: Siteminder on Itanium
I am not sure PA-RISC libraries will work conjuction with Apache's itanium libraries. Check with CA for Itanium compatibility of Siteminder.
