sleep_time between login attempts

I need to configure the period of time between login prompts. I mean the time which it take to show the login prompt when the first login attempt is incorrect. It is possible to do so? which file should I modify?

Thanks in advance

Re: sleep_time between login attempts

sorry, I don't believe this is configurable.

All unix flavours are exactly the same . . . . . . . . . . for end users anyway.

Re: sleep_time between login attempts

Hi,

If your system has been converted to trusted then this is possible.

SAM -> Auditing and Security -> System Security Policy -> Terminal Security Policy

At the "Delay Between Login Tries" prompt just enter a value you want, I believe the default is 2 seconds.
