Slow X-Windows when export Display from HP-UX to other computers
Dear All,I have a problem with some HP-UX machines (B.10.20 A 9000/785).I am exporting applications from the HP-UX computer (like xv or veetest, ...) to my Linux machine (or other computers). The handling of the application windows of some of these HP-UX machines is very slow. All machines are connected in the same network. Network trafic and machine load is also low.I have compared the X settings on the HP-UX machines with fast and slow exported X display with the SAM admin tool, but I found no differences. When I start or export an application to the problem machine the application is running fast.Regards....

Re: Slow X-Windows when export Display from HP-UX to other computers
Verify that your NIC and switch port settings are correct and matched. Use lanscan to identify the NIC and lanadmin to check the speed and duplex setting. If you're running 100 Mbit, you'll need to force both the NIC and the switch port to Full Duplex - autonegotiate does not work.
