SLVM to CVM Oracle RAC data validation

A customer is migrating their Oracle RAC cluster from SLVM raw volumes under SGeRAC to CVM raw volumes. They would like to know after they do the vxvmconversion that the raw volumes are all intact and haven't suffered any data corruption. An md5sum of the raw logical volume under LVM and then under CVM yields a different checksum, so that doesn't appear to be a valid option. Does anyone out there have any ideas or experience that they can share to help me come up with a solution to this problem?
