SMH flags unused lan interfaces as failed - so what?

I'm a long time user of EMS and I'm new to SFM and SMH, sorry if this seems like a weird question.

If have unused LAN ports in my server. Due to this, the health status of my server, from SMH all they way up to SIM, shows up as degraded.

Is there any way I can prevent SFM from flagging these interfaces as failed, without having to purchase and plug loopbacks in them?

I checked quickly the documentation on the LAN Provider, and it's too much low-level WBEM stuff for me. :)

Thanks

Shalom,

SMH is supposed to have a menu that lets you select and stop monitoring.

You could plug them into a hub and that will probably make the warnings go away.
