snapbdf utility.

Hi,

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the snapdbf
utility?

I tried this web-site and it doesn't work -
http://wtec.cup.hp.com/~hpux/fs/VxFS/tools.htm

10 points to any good answer.
Thank you
Gino

Re: snapbdf utility.

Well it does not work because that is an internal HP site.
The tool is an internal, unsupported utility.
If you really feel you need it, log a software call with your local HP Response Centre and ask for the tool, bearing in mind you may be asked for a reason why you want it.

Re: snapbdf utility.

Gino,

I've never heard of snapbdf. What is it?

I tried the porting center at
http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/cgi-bin/search

but found nothing. I tried Google, Yahoo, and AllTheWeb with the same result.

Sorry,
Pete

Re: snapbdf utility.

Hi,

I found a reference to it in
the HP-UX Software Recovery Handbook - Chapter 18 - JFS/Online JFS.

URL for the documentation:

http://www2.itrc.hp.com/service/iv/node.do?node=prod%2FWW_Start%2FN1%7C16

I'll open a case with HP Support to get a copy of it.
It looks like it's a handy tool to have.
