+++snmp: can't see all MIB-II entries+++

Hi all,

we've installed Tivoli NetView on our system to use SNMP. Now it is possible to see only some MIB-II entries not all.
Does I have to change the snmpd.conf entries.
I'm not really at home with snmp.
So I would be happy if anyone could help me!

Thanks in advance.

Re: +++snmp: can't see all MIB-II entries+++

hi,

At least you have to configure the following initial parameters:

get-comunity-name: (default public)
set-comunity-name: (default private)
trap-dest: (ip of the Network Management Station)

If you have something like this in your snmp.cof file:
get-comunity-name: operador VIEW: mib-2 -interfaces

This will configure the snmp to let the "comunity name operator" to see eventhing on mib-2 except interfaces.

regards.
