Hi all
I'm trying to configure ss7SNMPAgent in my hp 11.X server.
but it was not starting.
there are some errors in /var/adm/snmpd.log
setvar not set for subagent 0
setvar not set for subagent 1
when i see the values of
ss7SNMPAgent -displayTrapDoc
there are lots of errors and the last one of it is Master Agent is stopped
log files are attached in the previous query
HP UX OPEN CALL SNMP

Re: SNMPD
jayachandran,
wondering.. did you 're-start' the SNMP master agent and the sub-agents....
are there any firewalls between you ? can you ping across the firewall ? change your discovery from ping (ICMP) to snmp-discovery..
best of luck,
tom
