Re: software(mirrorux,fortran) installation error

What OE version of 11i did you install?

Strange that mirrorUX wont install...

Did you say you have system directories missing? Do a "bdf" and post it here so we can see what your OS looks like.

Re: software(mirrorux,fortran) installation error

Hi Sunil,

If you purchased & installed Mission Critical OE, it already contains Mirror-UX & you wouldn't be able to install it again unless you specified the reinstall options.

Run the following:
swlist | grep -i oe

to see which OE is on there & then

swlist -l fileset | grep -i mirror

to see if Mirror-UX is already there. It would be named LVM-MIRROR-RUN

Re: software(mirrorux,fortran) installation error

Well - you should *still* check to see which OS they installed. IF they installed Mission Critical you *will* already have Mirror-UX.

Re: software(mirrorux,fortran) installation error

Sunil,

What version of the OS did YOU reinstall?

Also post the swlist output for mirrorUX package. You need to show us some detail if we can be of any help...

I am pretty sure you should be calling your HPUX support by now.

Re: software(mirrorux,fortran) installation error

Hi (again) Sunil,

I should add that if you have the Enterprise OE, it also contains Mirror-UX.
In fact the only OEs that don't are the standard 11i OE & the Technical & Minimum Technical OEs.
