i want to know that likes in windows all the software are installed in program files.
likewise in hpunix where it is stored.

another thing that i want to ask is how to select source and destination of a software while installing it through sam,

when you install a software or application the related files are stored in the /opt directory. a directory is created under under /opt for that software.
