Can a serveur HP-ux be at the same time client and server NTP?

Can Windows2000 client NTP be synchronized on a server NTP HP-ux?

On client NTP actif , how configure the period of synchronizasion?

Well since I have never configured a Windows2000 for NTP - I will leave that for someone more knowledgeable....

Yes, the HP-UX server can serve clients and be a client of for example an outside server.

This limits exposure to the public Internet.

Windows 2000 can synch of an HP-Ux box.

You MIGHT need some software to do it from the inventor of ntp, Dr. David Mills.

I haven't tried using HP-UX as the time server, but I'm synchronizing Linux, HP-UX, and Windows using a NetWare server.

On the Windows machines, I believe all you need to do is run the command "net time /setsntp:"

Hi,

yes win2k client NTP be synchronized on a server NTP HP-UX.

In win2k, in administration tools there is menu for ntp client

through that option u can synchronized the time
