Source Quench

[Global Server Operation]

I have a server that when the virtual IP address is being pinged from another server it responds back with a source quench error. I can log onto the server fine, as well as others, but when this particular server pings to this IP address it sends out the source quench.

Load average on the server is very low. I am currently verigying with the network team if the switch has the correct settings. Any thing else I should consider please let me know.

Thanks for the replies. They resolved my problem by changing the following.

ndd -set /dev/ip ip_send_source_quench 0 to turn it off. Then edit /etc/rc.config.d/nddconf
