ss7HwInit of TSU gets errors

Hi!
I am trying to initialize the two TSUs I have on my system and get the following error, does anyone know what the problem might be?
Thanks in advance

Re: ss7HwInit of TSU gets errors

Before ss7HwLoadConfig, you can not see anything from command "ss7HwInfo". Did you see your license info after "ss7HwInit"?
By the way, what is your OC-SS7-WBB version?

I have a set of SS7 in my system.
OC-SS7-WBB A.02.00.66.08 Release 2.0 baseline for ITU
OC-SS7-WBB-P119 A.02.00.66.08.119 Rel. 2.0 Patch HPUX 11 for IT
OC-SS7-WBB-P122 A.02.00.66.08.122 Rel. 2.0 Patch for ITU-T/TTC

Re: ss7HwInit of TSU gets errors

After the ss7HwInfo, I see my license information, but not after the ss7HwInit.
The Links are up on these TSU/TSC, but when I tried to install a different version via SAM the output gives me the error mentioned above, and says to run the ss7HwInit manually, and get the same error

These are the versions I have:
OC-SS7-WBB A.02.00.66.08 Release 2.0 baseline for ITU-T/TTC WBB HPOpenCall SS7 package : SS7.66.08
OC-SS7-WBB-P119 A.02.00.66.08.119 Rel. 2.0 Patch HPUX 11 for ITU-T/TTC WBB HPOpenCall SS7 package:SS7.66.08.P119
OC-SS7-WBB-P122 A.02.00.66.08.122 Rel. 2.0 Patch for ITU-T/TTC WBB HPOpenCall SS7 package:SS7.66.08.P122

Re: ss7HwInit of TSU gets errors

You said the links is up and running, didn't you?
I am not sure when you are trying to configure a new set via SAM and installing them, the SS7 should be stopped.
#ss7Stop -all
If it doesn't work, my suggestion is reboot your box, while make sure your SS7 won't be started when server goes to running.
Good luck!

Re: ss7HwInit of TSU gets errors

no luck, rebooting does not fix, resetting TSU does not work either. If I try to delete a link from the current configuration via SAM when I click ok, it tries to update the hardware file, but get the same error as mentioned above.
Also, it seems that everytime I try to INit I get this under a trace:
Bad default firmware description file for V.35 TSCs
Are you familiar with this? We are not using V.35 TSC, we have an E1 and T1
