ssh error

Hi all,
Please advice on following ssh error.
Connection to closed by remote host.
Connection to < host name> closed.

telnet is working fine. Tried restarting sshd, resetting lan card, but no luck.
This problem appeared suddenly, ssh was working for last few years

See if there are any errors in /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log on both the local and remote machines.

Try doing an sss with the '-vvv' (that is three of the letter v) switch for verbose logging.

# ssh -vvv remotehost
