/stand Error while igniting
This is a new Ignite server I am trying to get up and running.
"ERROR: The volume: "/stand" is not a suitable mounted volume(cannot be /sbin, /etc, /dev, or a subdirectory of these directories, or /stand on pre 10.20 configurations)."
The system is being ignited using an archive file and the golden image came from a system with B.10.20 installed.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: /stand Error while igniting
Which version of Ignite do you have.
This was known pre 3.2

Re: /stand Error while igniting
I had an older version of ignite originally installed. I believe it was 2.4.
Last week I downloaded the newest version form the hp website and I am still getting the error.

Re: /stand Error while igniting
Concerning ACE 9912, the image came from another J-5600 that I have running. I currently have 14 J-5600 and I have been using a make_recovery tape. I was just looking to make igniting a system easier and faster.

Re: /stand Error while igniting
Did you use the "-A" option on your make_tape_recovery ?? Also, what other options did you use, and what kind of tape drive?
Also, check the firmware revision on both, make sure the one you are trying to build is equal to or exceeds the firmware revision.

Re: /stand Error while igniting
The make_recovery and tape drive are of no use, I used the make_sys-image to create a new golden image for the ignite server.
As for the firmware versions of the boxes, I will check this out. Although I know the make_recovery tape I was using originally worked on the two firmware versions I had on my systems.
