I need the procedure to start the VPAR
I have to telnet to connect NPAR?
what commands to use?

SolutionIf no Vpars are running in the npar, is the vpmon prompt coming u when you connect to the npar console through the MP? If so use vparload to start the vpars

if you logged in NPAR,
you can use
#vparload all
it will load both vpar.

Good evening,
1) Power on the server.
2) Login to it's MP port or operate from condole.
3) after sometime you will get HPUX prompt
4)execute the command "boot vpmon"
5) you will get MON> prompt
6) execute the command
"vparload -p
7) your vPar will start booting.
Remember this will do for you only if your system is in vPar mode. If it is in npar mode during post when it will ask to press "S" to get shell prompt pls press S and you will get Shell> prompt.
Now,
shell> fsX: (x=0,or 1, or 2 and press enter)
fs0:> vparconfig reboot vpars ...This will reset the system in vpar mode and then follow the steps from 3.

to start that vPar.
