startup problem with bastille

I am getting this problem with bastille:NOTE: Valid display found; defaulting to Tk (X) interface.
NOTE: Using Tk user interface module.
NOTE: Only displaying questions relevant to the current configuration.
NOTE: Bastille is scanning the system configuration...

NOTE: Could not open config file /etc/opt/sec_mgmt/bastille/config, defaults used.
couldn't connect to display "15.179.32.245:0.0" at /opt/perl_32/lib/site_perl/5.8.3/PA-RISC1.1-thread-multi/Tk/MainWindow.pm line 55, line 3698.
MainWindow->new() at /opt/sec_mgmt/bastille/lib/Bastille_Tk.pm line 167
any suggestions?

Are running this from an xterminal? Apparently, it's required to run this tool.

Hi:

Does your DISPLAY variable value represent the address where of your X-Window emulator (e.g. Reflections, Exceed, etc.)

Re: startup problem with bastille

you would need to ssh -X into the first server with a working xterminal, then ssh -X into the second as well. Unless you've got working xwindows into the first server, you wont have it into the second.
