Steps to Install HP-UX 10.20

1) I am looking to reinstall the HP-UX 9000 version 10.20 server software. I am
looking for the steps in doing this?? I have never done this on an HP. Very
familier in doing with IBM-AIX.

2) Will be loading Oracle 8.0.5 on HP-UX 9000 version 10.20. Is there any
perameters I have to adjust on server side???

The HPUX installation guides are available online at the below URL. Go into the
10.x section and look in the
"HP-UX 10.x Operating System" section for a manual called "Installing and
Updating HP-UX 10.x"

Installing Oracle:

You have to modify the kernel according to Oracles directive. Critical
parameters are:

i-node, n_FILES , SEMAPHORES , n_process
