STM for 11.00 Sep 2003 problems

I've installed the Sep 2003 Support Tools Bundle on servers running HP-UX 11.00. When I attempt to run any component of STM, I get the following error:
# cstm

Unable to start the STM User Interface.
Failed to initialize the main window.

Possible Causes:

Internal Application error.

I checked the swinstall state for OnlineDiag, and there is no sign of a problem. I've never had a problem with an installation of OnlineDiag before, so I'm not sure where to look.

Are you sure that you had all required patches installed? I don't have the Sept bundle yet, so I can't say for sure, but that would be the first place I would look. The required patches should be listed in the Readme file.

Forgot to ask, have you tried mstm or xstm?

Try restarting diagostics.

/sbin/init.d/diagnostic stop
/sbin/init.d/diagnostic start

I tried stopping and starting diagnostic. I also tried mstm and xstm, all with the same result.

Does anyone know where the README is, or where I find the prerequisites?

Try

swlist -l fileset -a state|grep STM-UI-RUN

Is it on your system and marked as 'configured'?

Do all versions of stm match on the system?

swlist -l fileset|grep -i sup-tool-mgr
