I have support tools manager (STM) version A.24.00 on one of my workstations. I was planning on patching it, but I noticed that the Sept. 2001 Support Plus CD has STM ver. A.28.00. Now I'm undecided whether to install the patch or the new version. Is there a good reason for going one way or the other?
Thanks,
Jane

Solution
Hi Jane,
It is better to install the latest version of STM. It could have added support for some device which was not there in 24.00. Try to get s support CD of Dec2001. The Dec2001 version is 29.00 . If you are going to upgrade the version, better to take the latest version.
Here is a link from hp software site from where you can download the latest version of STM,

Hope this helps.
