Stop ServiceGuard daemons but leave package running?
Is there a way or command to stop the MC/ServiceGuard daemons on the cluster nodes but leave the packages running or cluster aware file systems mounted? Veritas Cluster can do this, I want to know if MC/SG can do the same thing?

Not possible that I know of.
If you stop the cluster daemons all the packages will be stopped as well.

I don't know about veritas cluster.
As far as I know, M/C SG doesn't support this.

Re: Stop ServiceGuard daemons but leave package running?
This is not possible. Because the volumegroups are cluster aware active.
The only thing you can do is the shutdown the package. than de a vgchange -e n
do a vgchange -a y mount the filesystem and start the application.
This means still you have down time.
