I want to install some kernel/driver patches during the night. So to minimize downtime, I want to run a check on all the patches for all the systems, during the day. Is there a way to issue an swinstall, which will not install the patches, but rather run the analysis phase, and generate the report. This will help me decide which server to include in the outage, and to further check the problems for the others.
BR,
Farid.

Re: stop swinstall after the analysis phase
swinstall -p should do the trick.
"man swinstall"
" -p Previews an install task by running the session
through the analysis phase only."
