Stopping a Online JFS extent reorq.

Is there a clean way of stopping a Online JFS extent reorg.?
"fsadm -F vxfs -e -s /vg06lvol2"

One of the disks is in the VG is failing and the extent reorg. is thrashing it.

Re: Stopping a Online JFS extent reorq.

It is likely that any data in vg06/lvol2 is suspect. It would be a good idea to check on it and if there is any suspicions restore data after disk replacement from a valid, recent restore.

The method given you worked, but probably didn't meet the question criteria of "clean" I don't know how I'd do it differently though.

Make sure to back up volume group configuration for vg06 prior to replacing the failing disk.
