Hello all,
I?ve received the message bellow in my console about my FFDI card for a long time, but now I need solve this. I?m sending attached in message some logs like output from nettl.LOG00, netstat -i and lanscan.
Please advise me.
Thanks a lot.
Valkiria
P.S. The file nettl.log00 is in to "stream.saida" in ascii format already.

Solution
Valkiria,
For what its worth, the error message that you are getting on the console relates to the following:
"You are getting the 'netlog' error as a result of a TCP instance issuing a T_BIND_REQ to an IP for a particular address binding. The response from the IP address is a T_ERROR_ACK. This response initiated the failure." (e.g. application trying to bind or connect to a port)
Therefore this is not something to worry about. There has been a request for this error message not to show on the console and is available in later arpa patches e.g. PHNE_23456 for HPUX 11.00
Hope this helps,
Shane Hjorth.

Re: STREAMS ERROR
I agree with Shane,
I encounter this message
219096 12:07:29 108468479 1 T.. 5321 2799 tcp_rput_other: case T_ERROR_ACK, ERRO
R_prim == 1
quite often but have never had a real problem
