Strict Contigous Mirrored Stripping.
I have a system that has strict contigous stripping. My /etc/lvmpvg is set up correctly (I have another system running this ok) and the system is up and running.
But I have a problem. it appears that 2 of my disks are not showing up in the
--- Distribution of logical volume ---
Does not show them. How do I add these 2 disks back in and get the mirroring to work.
Can I do this on the fly? and how can I re-add these 2 physical volumes to the logical volume and get it to resync the mirrors.
It seems odd to me that the 2 physical volumes have left the logical volume configuration. The Disks appear in /etc/lvmtab and are in vg02 but seem to have dissappeard from the logical volume. How do you add them back in? While keeping the same strict policy and just let them pick up the stale partitions?
Thanks
