Stripping

I have 18 disk that I have placed in a volume group. I am now trying to do a lvcreate but I want to stripe them in a 0/1 pattern. I have viewed the lvcreate man page but I did not see the flag for 0/1. What am I missing if anything?

IF you've got a VA7400 then don't use LVM stripping and expect better performance, expect worse performance. The disk array implements its own 'Autoraid' configuration and maps your data into raid 0/1 for you. And by adding LVM raid 0/1 on top of VA7400 raid 0/1 would aide you in what way?

Best performance in the VA7400 is achieved with one or two large luns and the 'Autoraid' selection.
