Strong Passwords on 11i

Hi,

Does anyone know if 11i natively supports 3DES or md5 passwords and/or passwords longer than 8 characters and if so how to enable this?

If not are there any good 3rd party products that could help.

No, HP-UX uses the standard Unix password generation methods (man crypt and makekey) and passwords may be (much) longer than 8 characters when the opsystem is converted to a Trusted system. This adds numerous content rules for passwords as well as limits of reuse and login periods.
