hey, does any one has the proper explanation
of the following output of the syslog.

Feb 23 12:40:01 radha : su : + ta fmg-root
Feb 23 14:45:01 radha : su : + tb fmg-root
Feb 23 15:43:01 radha : su : + tc fmg-root
Feb 23 16:42:01 radha : su : + tm fmg-root

what is meaning of "ta","tb". "tc", "tm" etc ?

pls reply me.

radha --system name

su from terminal ta.
fmg to root successful.

radha : su : + tb fmg-root

su from terminal tb
fmg to root successful.

but in which manner system is generating that
terminal name.
Is there any command to know the terminal name.

nstrtel is the kernel paramter which controls the number of telnet sessions creating the same amount of tels device files under /dev/pts/t*
