Subject: IP reconfiguration procedure for two node cluster running oracle rac 9i

We have two node cluster running ServiceGuard Extension for Rac. We want to change the ip scheme of these two nodes.A proper procedure to perform this activity is required.

halt the cluster
backup your cnfiguration
Disable the cluster from starting
Modify any static IP address changes
reboot to test this is correct
Modify any cluster ip configuration in th ecluster ascii file and package files
Reapply the cluster with cmcheckconf/cmapplyconf.
start the cluster and test
re-enable auto start of teh cluster
