Subnet mask in MC service Guard.
Hi,
I wounder if I can change the subnet mask of a system running MC service Guard package online. will that affect the availability of the package. Is there any subnet mask monitoring done by MC service Guard.?
Thanks,

Re: Subnet mask in MC service Guard.
this is not one of the configuration changes that is allowed to be done with the cluster running.
You will need to halt the cluster, make the relevant chnages, including the ascii files, and then reapply the cluster.

Re: Subnet mask in MC service Guard.
Hi,
Subnet Mask plays vital role in selecting the network where your servers are in. Same IP but different subnet mask changes the significance of the IP also.
Changing subnet mask requires rebuilding your cluster configuration. Be very sure and specific about the way you are proceding.
Keep safe your existing configuration files as in case of problem you can easily revert back.

Re: Subnet mask in MC service Guard.
As others have said - no - you will have to re-apply the cluster configuration.
