SUDO access not working for newly added users.
Hi,
I am having hp-ux 11.11,i have added some new users in sudoers file for sudo access,but even after adding SUDO access is not working.I can able to login with the new user but if i try sudo su -(its saying re type passswd )Can anyone suggest how to rectify this problem.

Shalom,
This is almost undoubtedly a sudouers file configuration error.
1) Which sudo are you using? The one provided by http://software.hp.com Internet Express works better than the open source versions but it stores the sudoers file somewhere in /opt which may lead you to edit the one you are used to in /etc to no effect.

can you confirm if it is working for any other user apart from the "new users"?
it could be a configuration issue as mentioned previously.
