SuperDome down to K class
If for any reason we had to move an application from a SuperDome off to a K (don't ask why!!). Would the K support full mode 64 bit?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: SuperDome down to K class
Hi there.
Depends on the model of the K-class.
Check this URL :
http://docs.hp.com/cgi-bin/fsearch/framedisplay?top=/hpux/onlinedocs/B3782-90807/B3782-90807_top.html&con=/hpux/onlinedocs/B3782-90807/00/00/10-con.html&toc=/hpux/onlinedocs/B3782-90807/00/00/10-toc.html&searchterms=C160&queryid=20010927-114347
I know, it's a heck of URL, but it should help.

Re: SuperDome down to K class
As said above, it depends on the model of the K. If it is a Kx50, Kx60, Kx70 or Kx80 then yes it will support 64 bit OS.
Here's a shorter URL to show system support for 32 and 64 bit OS versions: http://devresource.hp.com/STK/serversupport.html

Re: SuperDome down to K class
Also, check your firmware version on your K, because you will need the version that supports 64bit os (and have HP do the firmware upgrade).
