support life of 10.20

While normal support life of 10.20 was ended in 2003, what is the support life for any security patches? Thanks.

Re: support life of 10.20

Patches are available, but new ones pretty much are not being done.

Obsolete June 2003.

11.00 if you are considering an upgrade is also close to end of life. Unless you are the US Navy of course.

Re: support life of 10.20

And if you are interested in security, 10.20 should be upgraded ASAP to 11.1 as many of the most important security tools (IDS, Bastille, SSH, security-patch-checker, etc) are not (and won't be) available from HP. In fact, many software products (like Ignite/UX) have been removed from the HP website. All patch bundles (ie, SupportPlus) stopped after Dec 2001 and only critical security patches have been released until last year. Nothing has been fixed since summer 2003.

Re: support life of 10.20

Discontinued is defined as:
After this date you can no longer purchase this version but there may be patch development for critical and security related issues. Support will continue for the product through the Response Center.

Obsoleted is defined as:
There is no further support after the obsolence date. This includes patch development. Support through the Response Center is done on a best effort basis only unless there is a special arrangement.
