Support of Port Aggregation for onboard 10/100

Is the onboard 10/100 port of an rx2600 supported for Advanced Port Aggregation and/or Lan Monitoring, on HPUX 11.23?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Support of Port Aggregation for onboard 10/100

Hi,

I don't see any reason why it should not support APA etc..

It is as good as any other lan port on the system.

Hope this helps.

I do not see any problem with it unless you suspect it is causing problems with one of your applications, but that would be a problem with the application itself not APA.

If the product is offered on 11.23 then its supportedon 11.23. Last I checked, it was offered.

Unless my pea brain molecules are misfiring.

I checked the "HP Auto Port Aggregation (APA) B.11.23.00 Release Notes (HP-UX 11i v2)". It does indicate that APA is supported on "All Hewlett-Packard PCI 10/100Base cards (both FX and TX)".

Not clear to me that the CORE I/O is considered a PCI card. There are other items connected to that port besides the LAN. This might make a difference with the software.
