Support Plus Bundle for HPUX 11.11 in HA Cluster.

Hello,

I have two RP8400 running HPUX 11.11, both systems are in HA Cluster, i was thinking to update the servers whith de last Quality Pack Depot for 11i v1 (Jun '06 (11.11 Support Plus)
), but i do know the impact of this update in the systems, this servers are for Data Bases whith Oracle 9i, there are 4 packages in the Cluster for this Data Bases, my Question .., Is sure to install this Bundle ?, Of course i know that downtime is need it, but I'm not sure if this bundle affect the configuration of the Cluster or the Data Bases after reboot ?, Thank You for your support and recomendations !!!

We have used this bundle on much smaller, but still critical systems with no adverse impact. This includes ServiceGuard clusters with Oracle database.

I have the following recommendations.
1) make_tape_recovery or make_net_recovery before you start.
2) Serviceguard and database down on the node you are upgrading.

Thanks for your response Steven, the configuration of the HA Cluster is Active - Active, so i want to know if there is a problem when i update one system first, reboot .., and this system joins to the cluster ... becose there will be different versions of MC Service Gard after i actualize one of the systems, so what do you recommend ? I need to actualize both systems before they form the cluster ?? Or there is no problem if One of them are running whitout the patch Bundle ....
